The son of al Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden reportedly married the daughter of 9/11 hijacker Mohammad Atta in recent weeks, forging an unholy alliance between the two men that murdered nearly 3,000 Americans almost 17 years ago.
According to the Guardian, Hamza bin Laden married Atta’s daughter and is possibly residing in Afghanistan, with Hamza’s half-brother confirming the wedding in a recent interview.
“We have heard he has married the daughter of Mohammed Atta,” Ahmad al-Attas, Hamza bin Laden’s half-brother, told the Guardian. “We’re not sure where he is, but it could be Afghanistan.”
“We thought everyone was over this,” he added. “Then the next thing I knew, Hamza was saying, ‘I am going to avenge my father.’ I don’t want to go through that again.”
Bin Laden’s son has vowed in recent weeks to “avenge” his father’s dead at the hands of the United States, calling for a new wave of “jihad” against Americans across the globe.
“Hamza has previously made public statements urging followers to wage war on western cities including Washington and Paris,” adds Fox News.
