Blinken isn’t helping.

Tremendous strategic opportunity for the years to come.

Here is a link to the reports of US military helicopters from Gdansk, Poland, being present over the site of the explosions earlier in September:

Earlier this month, a US Navy Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk helicopter spent hours loitering over the location of the damaged natural gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea near Bornholm for several days in a row, September 1, 2, and 3, in particular . . . Flightradar24 showed an unidentified aircraft that did not even have a helicopter icon hovering over the site. However, the aircraft’s 24-bit ICAO code included in the description makes it possible to establish the model, which is the US military’s Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk. The code is verified through open resources that collect data on military aircraft. The US helicopter is also shown by the aircraft tracking service to have flown into the area of loitering over the Nord Stream pipelines from Gdansk, Poland.

This story has been debunked…the helicopter was nearly 20 miles away.

If you want to call that “hovering over” the site of the leaks, be my guest.

Post a link for the alleged debunk.

I have no idea what happened but why would someone use a helicopter? Drop g a munitions and hitting the pipeline would be like hitting a needle in hay stack with bullet. Someone would have to use a submarine.

Perhaps to drop divers and explosives, and then retrieve the divers.

Reports are that the sites of the explosions were in only 60 meters of water.

Still doesn’t make sense, aircraft are tracked by everyone.

This guy has distilled everything I have been reading into one video.

It’s very well done…lists the upsides and downsides of those who would have done this.

The downsides to the US doing it are precisely the ones I thought of- the downside of us getting discovered having done it are immense. And let’s not pretend we are so great at keeping our black ops a secret.

Yes, the flight information comes from a Swedish site that is available to the public. The aircraft were not identified as helicopters, but it was apparently possible to work back from the transponder information to find that out.

Of course, all it takes is a letter from former intelligence officials to institute a media gag order on reports about the helicopter flights. Perhaps that is why the article is from overseas.

:rofl:no intelligence officer issues media gags except maybe in Russia.

What do you call the letter from 50+ former intelligence officials that falsely claimed that the Biden laptop was Russian disinformation?

Corporate news either ignored the story or repeated the lies about it being Russian disinformation. Only months after Biden took office did media start to admit that the laptop was real.

Intel officials who signed the letter are still used as experts on CNN and MSNBC. None have lost their jobs as result of the blatant deception.

I don’t call it a gag order… There is no doubt that liberal rags will silence what might hurt the left. But that is not a gag order. They do it voluntarily.

Fox News did not report it except for Tucker Carlson’s commentaries. Facebook and Twitter took down links to the New York Post story. Only a handful of conservative sites reported the story.

The laptop hoax show that officials can disappear a story that threatens their political objectives. If they could do that in the weeks before the 2020 election, they could easily kill unfavorable reports now.

Technically the gag order may be “voluntary”, but we only need to look at how the intelligence agencies attempted to smear the sitting president to get a feel for what could happen to a business who crosses them.

So not a gag order got it.

It is if you don’t want FBI SWAT teams seizing all your computers.

Ask Project Veritas about that.

FoxNews had the dude that Trump brought to the final debate on all week (can’t remember his name).

All of the talk show hosts were doing Biden’s laptop nonstop the final weeks of the election.

And lots of even non-Fox/non-RW media consumers heard about it.

It simply wasn’t the game changer the right wanted it to be.

And hey…Giuliani had a way to break through the “censorship”. He could have made his source files available to anyone as opposed to just handing out pdf files. IIRC, the Times and the Post approached him saying just that, and he refused and went on OAN instead.

Man… people are still sore that no one bit into the soggy laptop story.

Government censorship of US media is not new.

Back in the 1980s, a colleague said that he was surprised to see headlines in French papers about the arms-for-hostages deal. The news was absent from the US media until weeks later.

I expect that similar things are going on now.
