I don’t go after the person, only the policy. I know exactly where each stands on the issues. I agree with Trump on most issues and disagree with Obama, Hillary and especially AOC on most issues.

the British government’s response was pretty telling…

"The British government is defending its ambassador to the United States following reports that he described President Trump as “inept” and “incompetent” in memos sent to the British Foreign Commonwealth Office.

“The British public would expect our ambassadors to provide ministers with an honest, unvarnished assessment of the politics in their country,” a spokesperson for the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office said in a statement on Saturday, according to reports. “Their views are not necessarily the views of ministers or indeed the government. But we pay them to be candid. Just as the U.S. Ambassador here will send back his reading of Westminster politics and personalities."

“Of course we would expect such advice to be handled by ministers and civil servants in the right way and it’s important that our ambassadors can offer their advice and for it remain confidential," the spokesperson continued, before adding that Britain’s “team in Washington have strong relations with the White House and no doubt that these will withstand such mischievous behavior.”

Two immediately come to mind. I believe Trump should have done Tax Cuts before attempting to tackle Obama Care. I wish Trump wouldn’t have used Tariffs to broker his trade deals.

The ambassador is but a single person who seems to hate Trump. His position doesn’t automatically translate to the position of all world leaders or even to the leadership in the UK.

Just as there are posters here who hate Trump and buy every conspiracy theory on the internet, so are there going to be some who are, say, British ambassadors.
And either he is an idiot or he should have known that someone he sent those letters to would leak them…if he didn’t leak them himself.
