Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy spoke with reporters this week regarding his “controversial” conversation with President Trump; confirming there was “no corruption or blackmail” during the phone call.
“Do you think a President is corrupt if he asks a foreign nation to investigate a political rival?” asked Good Morning America.
“This is not corruption, because it was just a phone call,” said Zelenskiy.

The White House refused to cooperate with Congressional Democrats latest impeachment investigation Wednesday; calling their efforts “unconstitutional” and dangerous for the future of the office.
“Your unprecedented actions have left the president with no choice,” said the letter signed by Pat A. Cipollone, the White House counsel. “In order to fulfill his duties to the American people, the Constitution, the executive branch and all future occupants of the office of the presidency, President Trump and his administration cannot participate in your partisan and unconstitutional inquiry under these circumstances.”
“The White House should be warned that continued efforts to hide the truth of the president’s abuse of power from the American people will be regarded as further evidence of obstruction,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California said in a statement. “Mr. President, you are not above the law. You will be held accountable.”
The President slammed Congressional Democrats on social media, writing “The Do Nothing Democrats are Con Artists, only looking to hurt the Republican Party and President. Their total focus is 2020, nothing more, and nothing less. The good news is that WE WILL WIN!!!!”
