U.S. Wall Funding of $1.57 Billion Yields 1.7 Miles of Fence

What nonsense. The article doesn’t give nor care exactly what that money was spent on, if it was spent at all. Just like the House, this is all for political show.
Does it take planning before a wall is constructed?
Do legal issues become involved?

No, that money wasn’t spent on building 1.7 miles of fencing. If it was spent, it was spent on preparation. Everyone involved in making a show of this knows that.

Oh, it’s definitely a show alright. Hell, we smash hydrogen atoms against each other at nearly the speed of light around a 13 mile circuit for less than that per year.

I can’t wait for the next season.

It’s enough to a plaque with the sociopath’s name on it. That’s all that is needed.

I suspect the cost is much less than a billion per mile.
I just want to know how many miles of wall have been built (and where) halfway through the President’s term.

If that’s what you derived from reading the article you provided, I’d go back to kindergarten and start all over.

should have hired Mexicans.

DHS spent 13 million on hiring two border agents.

The government never waste money how much did that fighter jet program cost again?

Hey, what’s another few trillion added to the already exploding debt, right?

We’re just not spending money fast enough - that’s all…

Privatizing the commons is part of the point of the current political movement.
