It’s been nothing but flash floods and tornadoes this summer so far. The only nice thing this summer has been it really has been cool temp wise so far. Usually by this time its 100+ every day. Hottest day yet has been like 90.

We’ve only hit the 80’s so far, and that’s still too hot. A few small tornadoes one day that were mostly out on the plains. We’re likely to have some flooding from snow melt, unfortunately, but all the snow in the mountains did help our water supply.

When we were little, we’d always drive to AL to see my cousins, and I swear the minute you hit the KS state line, you feel the humidity. And then AL? Geez.

People build roots in an area and don’t like to start all over in a new place. Especially so if they have a spouse who also has a job in the area…one of them might have to start all over.
I can see why they might be upset and pull a stunt (hardly a fit) of turning their backs.
That said…if the job moves (hopefully for a good reason) you either move or quit, ultimately.
