And yet the right to do so is not dependent on whether or not you can think of a reason.

To be sure, I also can think of no reason why a citizen should (or at least I should) be carrying a weapon on the streets, which is why I never have. Someone else’s right to carry something is not subject to my own reasons.

Imagination that limited is it?

You can claim that.

Right.

I still haven’t seen pics of anyone carrying guns. Or actual “gunmen”.

Of course, I’ve only gotten half way through the thread, so maybe someone found something by now.

Can you think of a reason why on the street today a citizen shouldn’t be carrying loaded weapons?

For all the good the “protesting” did in MI

Court says the governor’s order stays in place.

Especially not that long ago. He grew in his conservatism as he aged.

And the protesting will continue and grow.

Reagan didn’t get to stop citizens on the street from carrying either. The alleged “gunmen” in the protest that precipitated this thread demonstrates that.

He did as governor in his state. To this day.

Dude, you know those aren’t my words, they are Reagan’s.

I don’t care.

You didn’t attribute it as a quote.

Sometimes traps don’t work.

That’s why I use my own word “sheople”, so you’d know I’m just a regular guy. :sunglasses:

Yes it will.

Most are missing the severity of the basic issue of personal liberty.

The protesters are just and righteous. They have been wronged at the most basic level of US culture.

They cooperated and flattened the curve. Now they are being abused simply for being deemed unessential.

The virus crisis exists in NY mass transit and nursing homes. The freedom crisis is in the face of the unessential.

They have been polite so far. I would recommend addressing their grievances immediately.

No Ohio units served.

After two years of counseling young men on how to avoid the draft, I concluded that the resistance to draft was fundamentally immoral and stopped participating. I refused to renew my student deferment but I was never called.

Funny, a few months ago you were insisting I could not be old enough to remember the nineteen-sixties. I am.

I am different than you…just as I’m different from my wife. I can love somebody and be different…poking fun along the way too…can you?

Are you? Strange. :us: :cn: :uk:

When libs say, “all I see…” … it’s not surprising. :man_shrugging:

OK, still no pics of gun-toting gunmen.

Sneaky’s right. They got libs’ attention. I earlier said they got libs setting their hair on fire.

Oh well.
