My point is, they remain Saudi Citizens and are subject to their laws as such. Since they kept their Saudi Citizenship (or if they were US citizens first and became Saudi citizens without renouncing like they should – in my opinion), the US should play no part in their arrest and let their laws play out with their citizens.

cite an example of a president ignoring their own intel and claim SA didn’t do what we know they did. Or really, any other country…cite an example of a POTUS publicly siding with a foreign government over the opinion of own intelligence agencies.

But from them we would at least gotten the stern “Bad Saudi Arabia! Bad! Don’t do it again- now here’s our latest military tech”.

Ok we can go around that circle if you like, if you think the Saudi butt kissing is exclusive to this president. Because we all know Trump says ridiculous things, on the other hand Obama is on record doing something much worse with the Saudis.

Name one president who would veto a bill not allowing families of the victims of 9/11 to sue the Saudi Arabian kingdom where most of the hijackers were from? A bowel to the Saudi kingdom so grand that both the house and senate in a bipartisan way had to override Obama, to not look like they were siding with terrorists over the citizens of the U.S.

I will be pleasantly surprised if the next president doesn’t fall inline like all the previous ones in kissing up to the Saudi’s but I am not holding my breath, because this is one thing both sides do well when in power.

Trump says and does some stupid things anyone that says differently can’t take their partisan blinders off for a minute. I am in no way defending him on this, just saying the howling over something needs to be done just isn’t going to happen. I loathe the way the U.S. kisses up to these clowns. But this isn’t new it’s been going on forever with each administration, regardless whether they are a republican or democrat.
