I saw Twisters on IMAX Saturday, and I absolutely loved it.

It’s a good old-fashioned summer movie with great action as well as some heart.

I also enjoyed the performances by Glen Powell & Daisy Edgar-Jones.

It’s a terrific film to watch, especially in IMAX. It’s truly worthwhile.

I recommend everyone to see it.

I give it a grade of an A-.

I saw it today, too, on IMAX and it was really good.

It follows the journey of a young storm chaser while shining a light on the reality of the disasters that tornadoes cause in their wake.

There’s a few funny scenes.

Being from Oklahoma and watching this was interesting, and I felt the movie was accurate in depicting these disasters.

Saw it over the weekend and it was blah for me. Typical lightweight storyline only saved by some of the action scenes.

For a legacy sequel it was passable. YMMV.

It was fun. And while the tornado effects were the star of the first movie, it didn’t seem to have changed much in 30 years.

My only complaint about both movies is how these supposedly expert tornado scientists got surprised by evening tornados after they clocked out for the day.

And finally, did you all know that Twister (1996) is basically a remake of His Girl Friday with a tornado thrown into the mix??
