I don’t think he understands that Turkey is doing exactly what Russia and Iran want them to be doing. The US presence was the counterweight to Russia and Iran. Now there is none. Now it’s just Russia and Iran with Turkey doing the dirty work.

This is the second time you’ve said this while providing zero evidence such a thing was likely to happen.

Trump has already said that if Turkey doesn’t stop its attack we will (somehow) destroy their economy. That is as much as we can do without a military attack on Turkey. So, if said a thousand times, “Do we declare war on Turkey?” is a relevant question.

Or…we could have stayed in place and the status quo would have been maintained.

Imagine that.

This happened because we PULLED BACK.

It wouldn’t have happened, and we wouldn’t have had to “do anything” had we not done that.

And that says “Our soldiers are there and if you attack you are at war with us”. That is the only reason leaving troops there would work.
And if you do that, you have to be ready to go to war with Turkey.
