The facts are that the texts of the Fox management themselves about Dominion were more problematic for Fox than Tucker’s. I think the left wants deep state narrative contrarians like Tucker off the air. They harnessed Dominion to financially pressure Fox management and Dominion agreed to reduce the settlement if Fox management agreed to fire Tucker. Goal achieved. I expect other lawsuits against Fox will be followed by the firing other deep state narrative contrarians for reduced settlements.

It would be impossible for them to harness anything if fox didn’t lie.

When Murdoch handed down his assets to his sons, it was well known at the time that both were libs. One supposedly a tad less and that’s who got FOX. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time and couldn’t believe how Tucker was hammering the nail in the lib coffin every night. These are two opposite forces. My guess is, just like with the decision made by the Bud Light VP…and how it cost them big money, IMHO this decision will cost FOX dearly. Viewership will decline…the question is…how much?

From what I see, Carlson was fired for revealing inconvenient truths about government, corporate sponsors, and the media. This is not a left-right issue except that it shows how the leaders of the Democratic Party have sold out to the very interests that they had previously attacked.

Carlson recently defended black nationalists / socialists from their recent FBI arrest for committing the “crime” of publicly opposing the US government. The so-called liberals have been silent.

Several years ago a lib poster posted a quiz to determine your political leanings. After completing it, it listed me as dead center and ever so slightly leaning left. That would place me in the “middle ground”. The problem is, the left has moved so far left and their policies are having such catastrophic results…it’s an all out political war with no middle ground IMO.

Its not me that is one day saying he is an idiot and the next saying he successfully cowed Murdoch into submission and forced Murdoch to fire Carlson.

There is no conspiracy here, no secret plan, just Murdoch making a decision that he thinks is best for his company.

Carlson was a key part of Fox News but no one person is bigger than the whole.
