AOC gives me the impression of being sharp and smart.

Ok, we will die it what now about 10 1/2 11 years now. If we are dead in 10 1/2 years, as we are on our way dying I might think ‘oh, AOC was smart.’ She is an economics major who bashes capitalism and thinks socialism is the way. Not all that smart. Socialism/Communism has failed wherever it has been tried everybody knows that except her. She rejoices when an industry that employs people and provides for needs for millions of people is hurt. Not too smart. Green jobs come alive to give us more Solyndras? Solar energy has been around for 50 years with incentives given for all these years and it accounts for 1.6 percent of energy in the US. Is it all of a sudden to become productive because oil collapses? You think that is smart? Her original green new deal proposal was to eliminate carbon emissions by 2030, not net zero. Not too smart. She said we need to eliminate cow farting. And people should not eat hamburgers for breakfast lunch and dinner. Not too smart. And hypocritical:

But the woman who boasts of a “razor-sharp BS detector” seems to have trouble sniffing out her own.

Since declaring her candidacy in May 2017, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign heavily relied on those combustion-engine cars — even though a subway station was just 138 feet from her Elmhurst campaign office.

She listed 1,049 transactions for Uber, Lyft, Juno and other car services, federal filings show. The campaign had 505 Uber expenses alone.

In all, Ocasio-Cortez spent $29,365.70 on those emissions-spewing vehicles, along with car and van rentals — even though her Queens HQ was a one-minute walk to the 7 train.

The campaign shelled out only $8,335.41 on 52 MetroCard transactions.

So don’t think she is all that smart and is a hypocrite. She does look okay dancing though the consensus seems to be.

That’s the first time I’ve seen her without Mr. Ed popping into my mind…

We love dance.

From now on I’m going with Chicken Heir.

How so? Not picking up what you’re putting down.

I know, it’s ok.

Are you suggesting that architects are wealthy?

If it were only so. :slightly_frowning_face:

Are you trying to say she was paying the full sticker tuition cost? No one in middle or lower class households pay that. Private schools have very very generous financial aid programs, way more generous than public universities.

It isn’t hard to calculate…

School cost about $200,000 or $50,000 per year

From google:
Boston University’s typical financial aid package for newly arriving first year students is $44,359.

That means she had a gap of about $6,000 per year or $25k. She has a loan for $50k, that covers the gap.

Next question?
