Pretty simple, cons weren’t upset about people getting banned for violating TOS, they were concerned about political basis or viewpoint bans.
Being mean to Trump**?
Being mean to Truth Social CEO?

Twitter bans for TOS violations. Apparently so does Truth. The problem is Cons think Truth is right with their bans and think Twitter is wrong.

Not having this pointless argument but to say even your side sees the bias when polled.

Look at all of our resident Trump antagonists jumping onto his social platform ASAP.
I am waiting for it get the bugs worked out and to gain some traction.
Cause I
Trump so much…

When the other side does it, it’s bad. When my side does it, it’s legitimate.
You’re right, this conversation is pointless. There’s no arguing with feelings of persecution.

Get back to me when they ban people because they don’t agree with their politics. And they probably will.
They already have. “DevinNunesCow.”
No doubt you trust them when they say it was because of the TOS - despite the fact that the DevinNunesCow account was never able to log on, let alone post anything.

Not political, due to their don’t attack the hosts policy. Just like you couldn’t be SeanhannityCow here. And even if they end up being as bad as twitter, it’s still better to have more competition in the sector.

Try to sign up with a derogatory name here using Hannity. See how that flies.

For those who are registered on the site, what’s Trump been saying last 12 hours ?

Nothing but pro-Putin memes.
While more competition is of course better, if they wind up being as bad as Twitter doesn’t that relegate them to the big evil tech pile and if so then is there really competition?
The cry over Twitter isn’t just that they are THE public square but that they are A public square. Creating another public square which is “just as bad as Twitter” means squat to the freedom of speech argument being pushed.

Makes totally cancelling someone for their political views harder.
Right. Except unless they are just as bad as Twitter….

Likely won’t be biased against the same political views.
Right so public squares restricted by political views. Seems to do little against corporate censorship but what you are saying does have merit.
