Trump's Twitter Timeline

You ever read Chris Hayes’s Twilight of the Elites: America After Meritocracy? It’s like Trump was invented to show how badly the boomers wrecked this concept.

Yes. And if you’re looking to kill time with some fine reading, check out this piece by Deadspin’s David Roth in The Baffler. Good writer. It’s ostensibly about the NFL, but it’s actually about the subject you’re referring to.

What should be scary to those who believe capitalism “weeds out the incompetent” while “government rewards the incompetent” is that Trump’s ineptitude has not prevented him from succeeding in the real estate world, but government almost immediately exposed his incompetence.

Trump needs to tweet directions to Mitch McConnell’s office for AOC. She can take it from there with a re-tweet to the other lost members.

It’s funny. I know people at places like Google, Berkshire Hathaway, etc. Does anyone think Trump could be successful at one of those places at all, let alone get to a c-suite? No. Trump inherited hundreds of millions of dollars and a family real estate business.

Ah, irony!

Decides to run for a political office for the first time in his life. Does he choose city Council position? mayor? Senator, Congress? Nope he runs for President of the United States out the gate. Oh and wins. Yep there’s a real loser there for you. Any of the important special people you know able to do that yet?

Thank you.

He couldn’t have done it without an extremely emotional base.

Touche! I stand corrected!

You still have time.

Thats the rub isn’t it- the corroborating evidence will be parsed to the nth degree. “Oh Trump was simply asking Cohen to advocate strongly for Trump as his lawyer.” Or “Oh when Trump said that it was a joke.” Or it was hypothetical. etc etc etc. Its gotta be ironclad and ridiculously over the top obvious or the weasely 5th Avenue Senators will let him off the hook.

Have you noticed that the President’s neckties are almost the exact same size as Muslim prayer rugs?

Sometimes a coincidence is not just a coincidence.

It may only be January, but this could hold up as the best post of 2019.
