Then his lawyers should have had the right to argue before a court why trump believed he could keep the documents he had and there never should have been a raid.
Like I have said this has never been about the law with the leftist. This has always been about getting their revenge at any cost.

And yet you presume Biden guilty.

Revenge?

That is a very good start.

Might be a bit too obvious. Kinda like writing influence cut in the bank ledger.

Shifty excuses.

Bad acts.

Just giving back what was peddled about trump.
It has been fun watching the leftist changed their tune and try to make this different.
I could give a crap that either one of them had documents. But the double standard of the leftist is on full display.
This has never been about the documents with the leftist this has always been about revenge. Many were hanging their hat on finally getting trump. That rug has been pushed out from under them. Now there are many saying we still have Georgia. Revenge is all the leftist want.

That’s a lot of words to play Iñigo Montoya.

Seams like FBI didn’t want to raid Trump home, they wanted to do a consensual search
but was over ruled

The Post describes a “tense showdown” a week before the raid. Jay Bratt, Chief of the Counterintelligence and Export Control Section (CES) of the National Security Division, joined other Justice officials to demand a raid. He was accompanied to the FBI by Assistant Attorney General Matt Olsen as well as two counterintelligence officials, George Toscas and Alan E. Kohler Jr.

Toscas previously worked on the Crossfire Hurricane and Clinton email investigations. He reportedly pushed for a raid.

The FBI pushed back hard, according to the Post. Steven M. D’Antuono, then the head of the FBI Washington field office was running the investigation and said that he considered the raid to be unnecessary and overkill. He wanted to arrange a consensual search. He reportedly even refused to conduct the raid without a direct order.

I don’t buy it. After listening to Wray and his ■■■■■■■■■ there is no way the FBI didn’t want this.

They are backpedaling and trying to appear virtuous in this debacle.

See, look how we didn’t want to do it this way but they made us do it!!!

I think there were level heads that pushed back and were over-ruled.

Now we are getting names. Garland appears to be throwing Matt Olsen under the bus.

I take this as a positive development.

I don’t disagree with that. Look at the number of whistleblowers coming out of the FBI. I’m sure there were a few of those types that were pushing back, but the FBI overall is not clean in this. Those that make make the decisions and are running the entire show are not like those few who have to follow the orders. That was where I was coming from. Those with the power within the FBI wanted this. The poor lackeys who have to do the bidding of those people, maybe not so much. Now those people higher up are trying to say they had no choice and were made to do it. I don’t buy that at all.

How long do you guys think Trump should have been allowed to hold those papers before they went in and took them?

Very true with this.

I think the worm is turning. What they did was too outrageous to sweep away.

Well we know for sure he didn’t have his as long as Biden had his.

Here is abuse of office by garland right here.

Even before the raid on August 8, 2022, FBI agents in the Washington field office as early as May wanted to slow the probe into the suspected classified documents and some wanted to shut down the investigation altogether in early June, after corresponding with Trump’s legal team.

The FBI agents reportedly worried that investigating a former president would face political blowback, but federal prosecutors in the DOJ’s national security division — the same one that took part in the Russia collusion hoax — argued for an aggressive approach.

According to the Post, “The FBI agents’ caution also was rooted in the fact that mistakes in prior probes of Hillary Clinton and Trump had proved damaging to the FBI, and the cases subjected the bureau to sustained public attacks from partisans.”

Meanwhile, DOJ prosecutors argued that not treating Trump like other government employees who had retained classified information “could threaten the nation’s security.”

The Post reported that the case was “closely monitored at every step by senior Justice Department officials.”

Attorney General Merrick Garland personally approved the raid, the report said.

Of course, with Biden and Pence they went back to the practice of consensual searches. Seems fair.

Well it seems Biden regime was involved
who would have thought that?

What are you talking about?

You missed it? Biden was directly involved in the Marlago raid for classified materials! This is third world ■■■■■■■■ we are watching, especially when Biden was found having classified materials in china town when we already know his son has business dealings with China and shared a bank account with Joe and had his assistants meet with Hunters business partner 17 times as VP, you realize the rest of the world is watching this? The irony of Biden having more classified documents than the guys house he raided! I guarantee China three dark money at Bidens campaign. Trump hated China, and Biden was going around saying China is our friend.
