Trump supporters are not 5% nationwide. Such a conviction will not be received well nationwide. The results, who knows. Do not expect it to be “Oh well, it was fair. We must accept the results”.

If Obama had stolen classified documents, and lied and hid them for more than a year, Biden would have done exactly what he did in this situation - stay out of it entirely, and let the DoJ handle it.
