OK sure all of that yeah.
Why do you think Trump had top secret intel and wouldn’t give it back?
Why is that such a gosh durned hard question to answer?

They are already taking everything they saw or learned while in office when they leave and stop conflating a few with all.

So presidents can take …“a few”. Like whatever they feel like? They don’t have to tell?

…because you are taking this for granted of which, you know nothing except the truth we’ll both find out down the road. Those making the accusations, have lost all credibility with me…including and especially…the FBI.
Another and more reasonable question is, why are you still feeding at this provenly, lying trough?

Why does it matter? Like I said they are already carrying hundreds or thousands of pieces of classified info in their heads. So go ahead and jail one for taking a few docs and see how long it is before they decide to spill everything they know. Great national security strategy.
It isn’t an “offer”. It’s the law, and Trump knew it.

Obama
This top secret stuff is an empty argument. It wouldn’t even have existed if one minute before his presidency ended he had signed a note saying I hearby declassify these documents. They wouldn’t be any more or less a risk. The whole thing is get Trump, not get records.
Release every document leading up to this decision by the Biden administration and start interviewing those involved.

Lol there’s a reason bad actors would want the documents and not what’s in people’s heads.
Especially considering what little Trump would have maintained in his head.

Sure… but he had in his possession compartmentalized Top Secret documents. Those aren’t just news articles that are classified for dumb reasons.

Wowza…
Way to cut out where I said why it doesn’t. Care to explain this?

And yet the accumulation of recent congressional testimony has made it clear that the Obama administration itself engaged in the wholesale destruction and “loss” of tens of thousands of government records covered under the act as well as the intentional evasion of the government records recording system by engaging in private email exchanges. So far, former President Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Lynch and several EPA officials have been named as offenders. The IRS suffered record “losses” as well. Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy called it “an unauthorized private communications system for official business for the patent purpose of defeating federal record-keeping and disclosure laws.”
