Says the guy who voted for a woman who paid the Russian’s for lies and then gave those lies to the fed as truth knowing all along that they were lies.

There is no proof that the Steele Dossier leaked to the FBI via the Clinton Campaign.

We do know that Steele alerted the FBI and that John McCain gave it to them under advice of Lindsey Graham. Basically it was an open secret near the end of the campaign and all the news organizations had it but no one reported on it because they couldn’t cooberate it. Only Mother Jones hinted at it’s existence before the election.

The greatest tactic that Trump played was to convince people that the Steele dossier was a lot more important than it actually was.

Who cares. There are a lot of people who work on a campaign. Stone is not Trump. Don’t like what Stone did lock him up. But what you can’t so is lock Trump up because someone who knew Trump or worked for Trump did something.

The reason why is because Rosenstein decided to appoint him. The root cause is because Trump appointed an idiot as attorney general and was probably the first President to have an acting AG who did not have the same interests. What a mess up.

Rosenstein appointed Mueller as Special Council because Trump fired Comey.

Let us not argue reality.

Nope Mueller was going to happen from the day Trump was elected. The left started the talk about how to remove him from office before he even sat in the chair for the first time.

Trump did not have to fire Comey.

It is that action that made it so a Special Council was appointed.

This is a thing that happened on this planet not very long ago.

Kilimnik in public knowledge was known to have deep ties to the kremlin in 2016. That is what was publicly known. Mueller didn’t go so far as to say that he was Russian intelligence… but the Republican led Senate Intelligence Report did.

Good grief. Public knowledge. Any poll would have shown 99.9999+% of everybody had never heard of him in 2016.

Section 793(d) of the Espionage Act states “Whoever, lawfully having possession of…any document…relating to the national defense which information the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation…willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it on demand to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it” is guilty.

Looking for the Trump legal defense here. Not feeling it.

NOT defending Trump at all here but, one POSSIBLE out is the part that you didn’t highlight. “The possessor has reason to believe…”. His lawyers could attempt to argue intent, not saying it is a valid one, but could be used.

Intent matters.

Exactly, his lawyers could argue there was no intent of injury to the US or to the advantage of any foreign nation. NOT saying I agree here, but saying an argument could possibly be made here.

. I totally agree the Biden admin is going after Trump and being done in ways that will give the admin justifiable denial, thing is Trump freaking gave this to them on a golden platter.

Not sure how those 2 statements make sense together…the Biden Admin. (DOJ) were doing their job.

They have been after him from day 1 of the new admin, Trump keeping these documents in his home handed it to them. I know you think the Biden admin is innocent here, I disagree, they have done it in a way where they have justifiable denial.
