She had indirect references to CIA operatives from which nobody specific could be identified.

If she had outed operatives, she would not have been “let off the hook”.

Unless it is shown that he was selling secrets… something that I don’t think was happening… I don’t think that he should go to jail. Get the Sandy Berger treatment. Pay a fine and have his security clearance stripped.

But really. If it is true… This puts to rest the idea that this was tyranny and politically motivated.

They gave him months to turn over these documents.
