I also saw them at The Warehouse in New Orleans. I guess around 1970-71. They are as good as ever. Daltry had tumors on his vocal chords treated (in Massachusetts). Towshend still commands the stage at 74. When he raises his hand to windmill, the crowd goes wild. A group of the Boston Symphony backed them up. They opened with about a 30 minute set from Quadrophenia and Tommy. They could have walked off the stage at that point and it would have been worth it.
