Why should they? He didn’t show his.

why? His duty is to England, not the US.
It’s certainly awkward, but replacing him isn’t necessarily going to change the consulates view of american leadership.

Reporting his ineptitude =/= hating him.

And yet, again and again, you support trump, a man in a position of power, voicing unflattering opinions about our allies.

Trump’s distaste for any number of allied leaders doesn’t seem to bother you. I can only conclude that it is not ‘distaste’ or public criticism that you find problematic - it is criticism leveled at trump alone that bothers you.
Like many of the presidents enemies, it happens when they tell the truth.
I never accused the UK ambassador of hating Trump.
Other world leaders have made their feelings quite clear as has Trump made his feelings about them quite clear. That’s what they do.
You misread me completely. I’m not expressing my distaste for the UK ambassador’s comments. I personally could care less. I’m simply participating in this thread by stating that there are consequences.
Has he been replaced yet?

Then why can’t the UK ambassador?
Beats me. But I’m kind of thinking it might be inevitable.
Consequences, as we will soon find out.
Maybe after May leaves. It sounds like she likes the ambassador.

He has every right to express his opinion to his government. When he makes those opinions public he has become involved in our politics…something I am told foreign government representatives are not supposed to do.
Its his own government that should remove him because he can no longer be of service to that country in dealing with the US.
Just curious…what would be the response of the British government if an American ambassador started making insulting personal remarks about their Queen?
His comments were leaked. He did not make them public.

They were made public. He dispersed them to several people one of whom leaked them. Through his recklessness or intentionally (I doubt if the leaker would admit it) he was responsible.
Theresa May did not invite President Trump for a State visit, Queen Elizabeth II did.
