Quite a stretch based on my statement.
I asked an honest question - Has Trump asked any cadets if they want to listen to him give a commencement speech?
Or it is an automatic reply now of "Trump hate? anytime someone on this board asks something with the word Trump in it?

They do, but this isn’t normal. All of the cadets are home now.
Who’s gonna pay to fly these cadets back? Maybe these cadets are enjoying a bit of family time and don’t want to go.
I asked an honest question - Did Trump ask these cadets if they want to hear him speak?

Its irrelevant what the cadets want.

Trump should be leading by example but We all know this is not about the cadets but more about Trumps ego.

If you’re truly “honest”, the question applies to both sides and comes from the exact same poll. Now Ms. Honesty…did you ask both sides or just one? When you answer that “honestly”…then ask yourself why you weren’t truly being honest? :sunglasses:

Yeah ■■■■■ em and their wishes…amirite? :sunglasses:

Yeah sure, as an answer to a question. Suddenly, you deserve an answer.

Suddenly…life has new meaning…to me. There’s beauty up above and things we never take notice of… :sunglasses:

As above, so below.

Ms? When have I ever mentioned I was female?
My question was in response to another poster who stated that “libs never asked cadets.” Why do libs have to ask cadets what they want? Libs aren’t in charge. Trump is (watch it, I said Trump - TDS TDS TDS!!!). And I merely asked, did Trump ask the cadets.

I should have posted a meme, that seems to get through.

Discernment…amirong? :sunglasses:

Nah, it would’ve sucked. lol

Sacrifice…I’m pretty sure the cadets are familiar with the concept.

The mods would have deleted it, I’m sure.

So an inappropriate meme that would’ve sucked. Thanks for not wasting everyone’s time. lol

Are you familiar with the concept of compassion? :sunglasses:

It would be compassionate to the cadets and the west point community not to have a huge gathering about 45minutes away from a pandemic global hot spot.

Does the CinC ever ask cadets what they think about his decisions??

Link?

During Afghanistan conflict in 2010, then President Obama made the commencement address at West Point in telling the graduating cadets that:

"There will be difficult days ahead.

But we will adapt, we will persist and I have no doubt that together…"

Here it is…

Surely President Trump will surely include a similar message among his comments in delivering an inspirational speech next month to this newest class of commissioned Army officers.

He could start by not dragging those cadets back into a pandemic epicenter.
