We’re not going to stay out of it, are we?

We did. Remember?

I’m afraid we ain’t…libs and some repugs are pushing it.

And then they will blame Trump for high oil prices and weaken economy.

Too many people don’t remember oil embargo of the 70’s.

That’s a shame.

Saudi’s might be about to offer a mea culpa on this one. I remain a tad doubtful on that front though.

Drill baby, drill!

I hope you’re right.

We have to rebuild our powerhouse…manufacturing and going through oil embargo ain’t going to help.

Saudi Arabia King has made it very clear - No collusion folks! No collusion!

I just wish the guy was a Fox News reporter. Then he would still be alive.

If it turns out that Saudi Arabia did kill that journalist, then I think they should be punished by having to buy twice as much military equipment from the u.s.

You may get your wish. Hillary will definitely see prison time now!

Wow-Conan, the globalist-who would have thought?

Eat ur peas, globalist.

The knee jerk idiocy expressed throughout this thread is epic.

Assuming the tale is true, the Saudi’s killed a Saudi National in Turkey, not on US soil, not at a US diplomatic mission or military base. It’s none of our damned business.

Next, the only source for the claims being made is the most unreliable and hostile ally we have that democrats were pillorying just a few months ago for their own treatment of dissidents and journalists in the US and abroad.

Next we have the fact that the Turk’s have become ever more friendly to the jihadists, are killing our own allies in Syria and Turkey, the Kurds and that driving a wedge between the US and Saudis would be of great benefit to them.

Next, we get to the knee jerking reactions of how we should act.

Yes, let’s put thousands of US defense industry workers out of a job and while we’re at it put the many thousands of US energy workers in Saudi Arabia and other parts of the ME is grave danger and out of jobs too by overreacting to something that is absolutely none of our business to start with.

Good lord people put the partisan BS aside for a change.

“Assuming the tale is true…”

And down we go into the looking glass

Brilliant commentary, congrats.

I agree with this position completely. I feel the same way about a neighbor of mine.

I found out that he has 3 teenage girls chained up in his basement, but damn! The guy grows the best damn tomatoes and always brings over a bunch and he uses his plow to clean out the driveway for me every time it snows heavy.

Why the hell would I jeopardize any of that for something that is not happening on my property and none of my damn business?

■■■■ that knee jerk ■■■■■ I’m with Rose here and I’m going to think about how I should act.

Your neighbor is committing a crime on US soil presumably against US citizens or at least by those entitled to every protection of the US Constitution and Gov’t.

Calling the police isn’t going to put tens of thousands of people our of work, upset the balance of power in the ME, nor put thousands of Americans overseas at risk.

I understand though that this really is probably the best you can come up with.

We all have lines in the sand where we piss on our morals and or flush them down the toilet.

You have clearly stated yours and I have clearly stated mine.

To be clear I’m not going to join you in your race to the bottom of the gutter, you will always have that won hands down.

He walked into a build and never walked out.
