It’s a rhetorical technique in debate where one creates a debate frame where any answer from the person one is debating results in a win for the person who created the frame.

Trump is a master at this. The only way out is to change the frame, or to prevent him from setting the double bind trap in the first.

Biden was really good at doing this…how people perceive Biden actually make him more effective than he otherwise would be because they underestimate him.

There will be no indictment.

Trump played a master stroke by saying he expected to get arrested. He stole the narrative from the DA, he benefitted from increased donations and once agsin controlled the political narrative.

As the Media focuses more attention on DeSantes, their tendency to emphasize the negatives helps Trump. Some might even say they are doing so deliberately because they see Trump as unelectable even against Biden. In other words, the Media doesn’t want Republicans to nominate a good candidate.

As Oscar Wilde said, “The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.” The Democrats are constantly giving Trump free advertising and name recognition. Yeah the reality is that the circus that is about to ensue will bolster Trump with his Base. It probably kills DeSantis’ chances because Trump will get all the news oxygen for the next year with a potential trial.

We shall see. It will be very interesting to watch the poll results and how this affects Trump v DeSantis.

That would be a riot.

Because the Electoral College Electors can’t vote for President and Vice President if they are from the same state. So that means:

  • One will not have those votes counted in their totals, or
  • One will have to move out of state as a permanent resident prior to the election.

So Trump has to move out (which he will never do) or DeSantis would have to resign as Governor and move out (which he will never do). It would be hilarious.
