Israel doesn’t possess that land today because of some 2,000 year old fairy tale.

They possess it today because Great Britain took it by force from the Ottoman Empire and set the stage for the Jews living in the area to forcibly establish a state. Israel has then maintained their claim by force of arms since then.

What happened 2,000 years ago is irrelevant.

Who would think that one prerequisite for negotiating an agreement between two parties would be to have discussions with both parties as part of the negotiation process rather than present a fait accompli to one of those parties?

Really? Well, here’s the point: There’s those who DO and those who TALK. Its easy to criticize when you don’t attempt to do the hard things yourself.

Foreigners love to criticize America. This is the same America that saved the world from the Nazi Reich and from world Communism by providing a nuclear blanket to protect them and a military unmatched in history to stand ready. Oh sure, the foreigners chipped in a tiny bit for show, but it is America that has saved the world twice.

Instead of whining and crying and complaining about everything I wish they would just say Thank You and be on their little way while we continue to take care of business.

President Trump once offered what he considered “a great deal” to Jordan’s King Abdullah II: control of the West Bank, whose Palestinian population long sought to topple the monarchy.

“I thought I was having a heart attack,” Abdullah II recalled to an American friend in 2018, according to a new book on the Trump presidency being published next week. “I couldn’t breathe. I was bent doubled-over.”

The offer to Abdullah of the West Bank — which is bordered by Israel and Jordan, and which Trump had no control over — came in January 2018. Trump thought he would be doing the Jordanian king a favor, not realizing that it would destabilize his country, according to the book.
