President Trump unloaded on former FBI Director James Comey and his “minions” Friday; blasting the ex-bureau boss after the Inspector General released his report that blasted Comey for “deviating” from protocol ahead of the 2016 election.
Trump vented his frustration with his former aide on social media, saying Comey “will go down as the worst leader in the history of the FBI.”
“The IG Report is a total disaster for Comey, his minions and sadly, the FBI. Comey will now officially go down as the worst leader, by far, in the history of the FBI. I did a great service to the people in firing him. Good Instincts. Christopher Wray will bring it proudly back!” tweeted Trump.
The Inspector General’s report went on to blast former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and her handling of Clinton’s email probe, particularly her infamous “tarmac” meeting with Bill Clinton just days before Hillary was cleared of criminal misconduct.
