Trump trying to sell lgbtq pride tshirts on his site

I love posts like these with passive/aggressiveness hidden in plain sight.

john mccain?

do you just drag things into discussions at random now?

Yes that was a completely random insertion.

there’s such an inane jumple of letters there it’s hard to take it seriously.

especially when some of them are due to mental illness

but lets not get into that now

yes obviously

It would be about the same.

Ooops- I forgot Sarcafont™ for those who clearly need it.

Obviously the rolleyes emoticon wasn’t enough…

When trying to defend this administration’s blatant bigotry you couldn’t even make it a full sentence without your resentment seeping out.

Say what you mean.

there’s no blatant bigotry

ridiculous

Active aggressive more like.

Yeah- allowing a doctor to refuse giving a flu shot to a trans person- that’s perfectly OK.

docs and therapists have the right to choose not to provide treatments

sorry you hate choice

Seems pretty blatant:

Trump doesn’t want trans people serving in the military. He doesn’t believe someone should be able to use a bathroom they feel comfortable with. His administration has moved to roll back anti discrimination policies involving adoption by same sex couples. He wants to allow doctors to discriminate against patients based on their sexual orientation/identity.

You don’t get to do all of these things and then unabashedly sell pride t-shirts with your campaign slogan on them. At least normal people living in a normal time would not. The modern political right in America is basically incapable of shame.

It’s a sad state of affairs for the GOP, if simply holding a flag marks praise.

At the GOP convention, when Trump pledged to protect the LGBTQ community, he ONLY meant against radical Islam. He did make pledges to RR organizations that they wouldn’t be forced to serve gays, lesbians, and transgenders.

So I do not necessarily believe he turned his back on the LGBTQ community or threw them under the bus, when he never really supported them in the first place.

All what we have is a statement in 2000, when he said that sexual orientation should be included in the 1964 civil rights act. This was way way before he was pandering toward the religious right.

thats because you read the anti-trump NYT

gender identity is not recognized as a civil right

not should it be.

Talk about a participation trophy.

Is that the Trump administration’s policy or not?

It gets even worse: Trump now wants to give homeless shelters the option of not allowing transgender or gay individuals, if there’s a religious objection, AND wants to allow employers the option of getting rid of medical benefits to trans workers.
