President Trump slammed Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Wednesday, calling-out the liberal legislator for comments he made in 2009 when he claimed “illegal aliens” should not be treated the same as people who came to the United States legally.

“’People who enter the United States without our permission are illegal aliens and illegal aliens should not be treated the same as people who entered the U.S. legally.’ Chuck Schumer in 2009, before he went left and haywire!” tweeted the President.

The President’s comments come as Schumer and other Democrats focus on immigration heading into the highly contested 2018 midterms, with some left-wing senators calling for the abolishment of ICE throughout the country.
