not going to be a good night for you. There are a total of about 43 competitive house seats, they are divided roughly evenly. The biggest swings we’re going to see for the foreseeable future are in the neighborhood of 20 seats. And its going to have to be a really bad year for the opposing party to lose that many.
thats what i was told in this very forum in 2018.
things have a way of changing in American politics.
just using myself as an example, when i moved to dover in 1991, my congressperson was rep and reliably as the sun rises in the west. west virginia was reliably democratic.
now my congressperson is a dem (a moderate one, but still a dem) and west virginia is republican.
things change.
what is true now. doesnt mean it will be true in the 2026 midterms.

Until we change how we fund our political system it will remain corrupted by the few for the benefit of the few.
Its insane that anyone on either side thinks an individual or even a PAC raises millions of dollars for politicians out of altruistic reasons.
