To me, everyone involved in every trial against Trump inside the democrat party, and every judge and prosecutor involved are committing high treason, and should be charged with that.

I’m not saying he didn’t do it, but she had a huge motive to lie and told different stories, she changed her story on the stand. Her salacious testimony was only given to smear Trump, she has zero knowledge of Trump’s bookkeeping or his relationship with Cohen. She never should have been allowed to testify.

I’ve never seen it, and don’t care; however, according to the story they only admitted the part about Williams was not substantiated. Also, not saying they’re wrong, but at this point the GA election commission “clearing” anybody doesn’t mean much. How did they clear him? I think they took down the website and “apologized” to avoid a lawsuit.

Indeed they do, but Trump was tried specifically for intent to affect an election, that is different than intent to defraud the IRS.

BTW, which story of hers was most credible, the one where she interviewed on national TV that said it was entirely consensual and under pleasant conditions, or the story she told in the stand that it was not consensual and she was sexually assaulted?

There was no place in the jury instructions where they were asked to determine if Trump had or had not had a sexual encounter with Stormy. That whole salacious speech by her was not relevant to any legal determination. A similar case (Weinstein , I believe) had just been tossed out on appeal in NY for that sort of extraneous and prejudicial testimony.

Part of Trump’s defense was that the affair didn’t happen.

It goes to Trump’s credibility in this matter to establish that it did.

I think that it damaged Trump to claim that it didn’t happen because literally no one believes him.

Trump could have taken the stand… but he didn’t.

So when he presents a defense that the affair never happened in the first place… of course the prosecution is going to present evidence that it did. Why wouldn’t they?

By using a defense that no one on this planet actually believes… I am sure that some pretend to believe it… but no one really believes it… it hurt Trump’s credibility.

It was a self imposed wound.
