Trump told Russian officials in 2017 he wasn’t concerned about Moscow’s interference in U.S. election

What Mueller reported was 12 instances of Obstruction of Justice — something Trump’s supporters here have gone to great lengths to deny.

What happened yesterday was the Times and Post both got stories from White House insiders who elected not to disclose to Mueller.

The takeaway — those peolple are now more fearful of going down with Trump than of occurring his wrath.

That’s a huge change.

If true it is not in the least bit surprising.

Obese Donald has gone on record that he is down with foreign interference in our elections.

At least when he is the beneficiary.

Then it is all good!

He likes getting in bed with the commies! He has married two of them. Has commie inlaw parents who got here through chain migration, something he professes to be all against.

The man has no loyalty to anything decent in this world.

The walls are closing in on Individual #1.

Letting a foreigm country interfere in our elections is a “policy decision”? My God

If investigating political opposition is “interfering in an election”, then Democrats have been interfering in elections since 2016.
Mueller asked numerous foreign countries to “interfere in our elections” by sending them requests for information.
Investigating <> interfering in an election

How would this even effect an election unless Ukraine found something illegal? If they did, shouldn’t we know about it?

Mueller was appointed to his duty under a Republican administration.

I suppose you are talking about the Mueller investigation… The one started by the Trump administration and fully supported by US courts. Even if we say those are investigating the political opposition and Trump was the target, they met all the standards of a criminal investigation. Even landing multiple indictments and convictions.

Asking a foreign country to start an investigation on the son of one of the opposing parties presidential campaigns based on nothing more than rumors is so clear cut it’s pretty amusing to see it being debated. We have laws in the US that could be used to prosecute Hunter Biden for corruption in the Ukraine. I’m sure the Ukraine would happily assist in any investigation a US court has authorized. If the “corruption” is such a concern, why is the administration avoiding using it’s own powers to pursue this corruption? Fear that US courts will see it for what it is?

We are talking about Trump telling Russia he isnt concerned about them interfering. You called that a policy decision that isn’t impeachable

What a stretch! Next you’ll tell us Mueller was threatening to withhold military aid.

If Trump’s Ukraine shakdown was not an abuse of power, why did his team go to such lengths to hide it?

Dont let Doug change the subject

Here we go! ■■■■ just got real! Hold on to your MAGA hats Loyalists trumpcons! The dam is breaking and there’s going to be Blue Flooding everywhere!

Sit back and enjoy the ride!

Democrats are not supposed to be immune from investigation just because they are Democrats.

Where the heck are you going to investigate something that happened in Ukraine?

Why do you think three Democratic Senators wrote Ukraine to try to get information for Mueller? Did none of those experts on Mueller’s teams know how to write? The obvious reason is there was at least as much an implicit threat of withholding funds from Ukraine if the didn’t do what they were told, as there was with Trump’s call.

Wait! What?

Come back when you can find he tells them that it is ok for them to do that in the future, and that the US will do nothing to stop it…like in the Obama administration.

What concerns him is his business.

Base this on what his administration has done, not what he may have said in one sentence.

By having the Department of Justice investigate violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act… not by shaking down the Ukrainian government.

As I have stated many many many times before.

There are completely above board and non impeachy ways to launch investigations.

What the President did wasn’t that.

This is the current line of Trump defense… unless Trump said some exact wording that spells out a crime he cannot be guilty.

Its as if someone pulls a gun on you and asks for money but you cannot claim it was a robbery unless she said out loud “This is a robbery.” No basis for prosecution because you might have misunderstood her intent.

This from the people who insisted that the acronym “CP” at a pizza parlor stood for “child pornography”!
