Sturgis featured indoor dining, hotels, and hours long concerts where people were stationary. Very few people were masked. Totally different from the protests.

Some of Trump’s recent rallies will turn up positive cases.

And those people will go home and give it to their kids, who will then go to school and give it to other kids and staff…

And then the school shuts down.
Then one of the parents has to stay at home, possibly giving up their job.

FLA should have known that if there are ANY cases, they will be like NY in 3-4 weeks if they don’t act fast.

this is simply wrong. there are always cases everywhere. Masks are only necessary where social distancing is not possible. And only more necessary where cases are growing faster than can be responded too. it is not accurate to say if you have a few cases tens of thousands more will follow. that takes a super spreader event.

This is all an argument FOR a strong, unified, coordinated national response. Take the responsibility OFF the governors, and bear it on the shoulders of the Fed. The Fed has teh bank roll, the clout and ultimately, hell, the responsibility…

What could trump have done? Invoked the ex. order to produce PPE in Jan. Could have blocked travel from Europe. Insisted on mask mandates. DEMAnD MASKS AT HIS RALLIES!

dpa invoked mar 20th. about the same time the CDC changed its tune on masks… you do want him to follow the science, right? by that time china had cornered the market buying back what they sold earlier. he did block travel from europe, on mar 11th. and europe had a fit and biden was against it. how many cases did we have then? 1000. could he have done that a little sooner, yeah, and should have. Biden would not have done it at all. I agree with the masks at rallies.

He could have accepted WHO test kits instead of using faulty ones for a month.

why? at the time we had very few cases and were contact tracing. we were doing what the scientist recommended. testing people with symptoms. we didn’t know about asymptomatic spread yet, or how prevalent it might be. we had time, the tests were needed desperately elsewhere and we could do better than the WHO tests.

To believe that you have to ignore all the public briefings, all the airtime he gave to people from the CDC, Dr.'s Fauci and Birx, The Surgeon General and all the other people on that task force who spoke daily to the public. You have to ignore all of that in favor of something Bob Woodward sat on for 7 months so he could use it to help him sell a book.

Here’s a quote from Dr. Fauci, speaking with John Roberts on Fox. I’m transcribing…“In mhy discussions with the president, we’re talking about the reality of what was going on, When we would get up in front of the press conferences which were very common after our discussions with the President he really didn’t say anything different than what we discussed when we were with him. I really didn’t see any discrepancies between what he told us and what we told him and what he ultimately came out publicly and said.”

Fauci also says he doesn’t recall a comment about the president’s attention span being a “Minus Number” saying that was something “Others” have said.
