Mr. Trump provided Mr. Woodward with the details of letters between himself and the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong-un, in which the two men are fawning toward one another. Mr. Kim wrote in one letter that their relationship was like a “fantasy film.

Describing their chemistry to Mr. Woodward, Mr. Trump said: “You meet a woman. In one second, you know whether or not it’s going to happen. It doesn’t take you 10 minutes and it doesn’t take you six weeks. It’s like, whoa. OK. You know? It takes somewhat less than a second.”

Sick and unbelievable.

What gets me is that Trump was briefed and could have hit the panic button and made a public alert and start the ramp up of the supplies we were going to need. Instead he was worried about what effect that would have on the stock market and didn’t do his job. And I just can’t understand how Trump supporters and the Republicans on the hill can just sweep all of this under the rug. Trump knew how serious this potentialy was and instead of doing the right thing, the presidential thing, he just wished it away. Another example of if Obama had done this those Trump supporters would be screaming bloody murder.

What can I do? I have confidence in our Constitution. And I believe that the union will stand. However it will be wounded very badly. Trump is attacking any oversight that would find him undermining our rule of law. And you and other Trump supporters do not want to admit what is happening. “Asked directly whether earlier publication of his interviews would have saved lives, Woodward responded, ‘No! How?’” Wemple wrote. “He pointed out that Trump made that comment on March 19, and he had already made an Oval Office address on March 11. Confirmed cases were taking off.”

In other words, Woodward says it was ok for him to sit on this statement for months because the statement made no difference whatsoever. No one got sick because of that statement.

No it would not. The CDC was in place with scientific information. No one in their right mind would have gotten their medical information from Trump’s tweets, whatever they were.

This is old news that’s becoming an early October surprise.
Trump early on took measures to stop the spread cutting off China & other nations travel here. Pelosi & her band of unhappy commies immediately called him racist & told everyone to ignore the virus & come to Chinatown, all is well, & they knew what Trump did.
