Those people don’t speak for Pittsburgh

Pretty easy not to ■■■■ it up just don’t talk to the press.
At this point, what does it matter what his “plan” is? Going today will surely tax the city’s LEO resources, disrespect the multiple Jewish leaders and portion of the community that have stated unequivocally that they don’t want him there, and distract the focus from the grief-stricken back to himself. Which, you can’t argue, is where he wants it.
Intentionally or not, he IS disrupting the mourning of the bereaved. But back off for a few days? Not our Donald.

It not like Jewish customs are important or anything to Conservative Jews.

Absolutely, and coincidentally, I just made a 3,500+ word introduction post for a new series on my blog that starts to describe my journey.

From what I understand, the rabbi of the actual synagogue is fine with it.
No desire to make this a two-man echo chamber, and sorry I effed up your requote of me above. Rookie move.
But yes, the likely tenor of his Presidency and legacy were established early. He will be universally regarded as the worst U.S. President, probably in time for me to experience the schadenfreude. It will just take 30% of the electorate a few years to realize it.
BTW: 1971 Nebraka-Oklahoma is still the greatest game ever played.

Can you be liberal and not be Jewish? Can you be Jewish and not be liberal?

There really isn’t a civil bone in their bodies whether in control or out of control.

If anyone protests his being there then they are doing the disruption. You might be correct if he were going there to campaign. Presumably he is gong there to represent the American people. That is what the President does and he is the only one chosen to do that. Obama would have done it.
If this had happened when Obama was President and a Republican mayor told him not to come, would you not be saying that this is what the President is supposed to do, and a mayor should not be playing politics?
If someone is disruptive because he is there, then that is on those still playing “the resistance”.
As far as Jewish mourning, all people mourn the lost of those near to them. The President, representing the nation, is there to mourn for the nation, not to interfere with the mourning of the loved ones.
That is his job and his duty.

There were a handful of “protesters” that were kept well away.
Looks like the Presidents visit was smooth and well received…for the most part. Peduto can speak for himself and only himself. He couldn’t run Bridgeville, let alone Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh LEO had the President’s back and appreciate his support.

Jewish mourning is a very specific thing.

Apparently he did not show up at the homes of the bereaved and interfere with any of this, so your “concerns” were needless.
Gee if only you put that in your OP.
That sack of ■■■■ mother ■■■■■■ doesn’t represent anybody but himself and his half-witted supporters. He’s very clear about that, too. Ever watch his rallies?

He meet with the families meaning they had to break Shiva to meet with him.
