Agreed. But I think it is more than that. Many of them are equally as cruel and enjoy the suffering of others. It gives their meaningless lives a touch more worth in some twisted sense.

This was happening long before Trump and it has been driven by Republican media, but the Republican party and its followers don’t do policy or governance. They are solely interested in grievances, who is they don’t like and who is it they can blame for their lot in life.
It just goes to show how bad Trump is that we have a President who has sex with porn stars and wants to start a space army and I still hate him.
