Check out the great border security in Derby Line Vermont. I wonder why that area has no big beautiful wall, or fence or artistically designed steel slats?

Also if a “major upgrade” is needed then the projected cost of the border barrier need to be increased substantially because it is currently based off the costs associated with building the existing barrier.

Right, if a president arbitrarily shut down your business and thousands of your coworkers who rely on daily cross border activity, you’d rightly “savaging” him.

Any day the train doesn’t cross the border I’ve got people out of work, for at least two days, and then have to pay them OT the third day to make up for everything. An accidental one car derailment in a Laredo yard cost us buckets of money last month and that wasn’t even a fully delayed day. And we’re only the smallest fish at the near end of the supply chain. Put just one rail yard out of work and watch what those men do. Then watch the domino effect across the chain and what people and families do. Now do the same for road transportation. Then try the same for financial activity.

I dare Trump to see what happens.
