It’s much more than just that.

The people running for Congress have to tell people a story that resonates with the voters they need to get out.
As with Hillary, that message cannot simply be “We’ll stop Donald Trump”.
No. There is one crazy part. He is telling it to paid participants, rather than volunteer rally goers.

“Fifty years after his death they said it may have been the greatest speech ever made in America,” Trump added. “I have a feeling that’s going to happen with us. In different ways, that’s going to happen with us.”
There is one huge difference thus time. Democrats and those independents like myself, who oppose Trump are motivated to go out and vote. While many did go out and vote for Hillary, very few were motivated or excited to do so.
We’ll see how motivated they are, is all I’m saying.
That said- the party in power almost always loses seats in the midterms, so we’ll see if they lose enough.
Democrats have been overperforming in special elections and in the 2017 vote. These type of elections typically have low Democratic turnout, so while its not guaranteed they’ll still be motivated, I’m optimistic.
Eh right kinda…its not totally the same. But in the end they could come out and vote for him and change things. Its gonna be a tight November

You nailed it. This is where I am at. After the Judge Curiel incident I wrote Trump off.
Now I am getting tired of the constant Trump barrage. Kavanaugh is a prime example. Fully qualified, but the dems are going crazy saying that Kavanaugh wants to kill women and is Hitler.
The far left to me look a lot more dangerous to me than Trump. True, the far right is out there too, but for the most part they have no impact on me. They are not in the cities demonstrating like antifa. They do not have the numbers that antifa is able to pull out.
