Oh, you believe he was self funded, too? That’s adorable.

It’s not opinion. It’s objecitve reality. It is evidence based reality. It is documented reality. That you fail to engage in this reality is no one else’s fault. Calling fact based reality “vile opinion” is why we are in the current mess we are in.

Dig deeper. We are not going or getting anywhere.
I like DC gridlock. Best thing for the middle class.

Here’s a fact. The President uttered the following to a seven year old, “Are you still a believer in Santa? Because at 7, it’s marginal, right?”
This requires zero effort to know that it is reprehensible.
But please continue to throw chaff. In this case, it is illuminating rather than obscuring.

True that. Less new laws being written, (especially to cover existing laws that aren’t being enforced) the better off we all are. Now if only we could get real term limits and make civil service a civic duty instead of a career.

The fact that our President is a serial liar and that most of his supports seem perfectly ok with believing those lies IS an issue. In fact, I would say it is the biggest issue currently facing our country. Conservative America is increasingly a reality free zone. We can’t even begin to debate “genuine issues” as long as we don’t even believe in a shared set of facts from which to start.

There is no desire to debate genuine issues.
It’s fine by me.

We will never get anywhere when only one of us is participating in reality. It’s unfortunate.

The inability to commiserate belies your selfish desire.

Lol
It is hardly selfish to wish all Americans yearned for the truth and enjoyed participating in reality. To suggest otherwise is simply odd, yet fascinating.
You could literally just say, wow, you shouldn’t disabuse young children of the notion that Santa exists, that’s kind of messed up and move on but here we are.

Civil service literally exists to be a career, to provide stability and institutional memory as political appointees change every few years. That is the entire point of it.
Meh …not really. A big deal…odds are the 7 years old didn’t understand what marginal means. Mine wouldnt…
