Despite having no clear challenger for the Republican Party’s primary in New Hampshire Tuesday night, President Trump more than doubled Barack Obama’s tally in 2012; indicating the GOP is “fired-up” heading into 2020.

“With 87 percent of precincts reporting, Trump secured more than 120,000 votes in the Granite State. In 2012, Obama managed just 49,080 total votes in New Hampshire. The gap between the two presidents is likely to increase as more precincts report their totals Wednesday,” reports Fox News.

“It also dwarfs the total of other incumbent presidents: then-President George W. Bush received 53,962 votes in the largely-uncontested GOP primary in New Hampshire in 2004. And in 1996, incumbent President Bill Clinton received 76,797 votes in New Hampshire’s primary,” adds Fox.

With approximately 54% of precincts reporting, President Trump has already received more votes than Presidents Barack Obama (49,080), George W. Bush (52,962) and Ronald Reagan (65,033) in their respective re-election New Hampshire Primaries.

With ~80% reporting, Trump is at 85.6% of the vote in the New Hampshire GOP primary, approaching the modern record for an incumbent of 86.43% set by Ronald Reagan in 1984.

“Nine months from now, we are going to retake the House of Representatives, we are going to hold the Senate, and we are going to keep the White House,” Trump told the crowd at a campaign rally in the Granite State Monday night. “We have so much more enthusiasm, it’s not even close. They’re all fighting each other.”
