Trump has been taking on the Hollywood types from the beginning. IMO, that sort of lowers the prestige of the office. He should leave that to others to take them on.
But then I thought that sort of talk was going to cost him the election and I got that wrong.

1. Bill Maher is funny. Yes, he and I have different political views about 50-60% of the time, but I can acknowledge that he is witty and isn’t afraid to criticize both sides of the aisle.

2. Maher is not wrong to point out that he was not universally welcomed. There were shooting victims who were not pleased he came.

3. You don’t “accidently” see a segment. He obviously was surfing through the web and saw that Maher criticized him for his response to the shootings.

4. Trump should be doing his job, not obsess over what comedians and actors, and musicals have to say about him.

2. theres always going to be someone who hates trump. your precious news people (and unfunny bill maher) will find them and make that the story, of course, but they wont show anyone who welcomes him. try to have some perspective other than what anti trump media gives you

3. fact is wrong. one can accidentally catch things on tv. i know you like maher but it is possible so that narrative is weak.

4. i bet that trump is capable of doing his job and writing a tweet. and a tweet doesnt indicate an obsession, like the one maher has over trump hatred and hoping for an economic hardship
