Same here. Since I voted for him, he has not only become proficient at spending our money, but he has also become proficient at kissing Trump’s ring.

Cruz is a political opportunist. When he ran in 2012, the Tea Party was the big thing so he pandered to them and ran as a conservatives. Now that the GOP is the party of Trump and deficits don’t matter, Cruz is pandering to Trump. He has no principles.

Well me and @wonderingrover made an appearance. For what it is worth. To express our disgust for Cruz.

As for the spending. I’ve been lambasting the spending by Trump since the election. And by Congress for decades now. But I am clearly in the very small minority of people who actually cares about the debt, the deficit, and wanting to reign in spending. There were fellow posters who used to echo my concerns. But they have by and large proven themselves unprincipled hypocrites on this issue. Not all though. But the ranks are smaller and smaller all of the time.
