Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) appeared on Jesse Kelly’s “The First” and called for President-elect Trump to publicly endorse Scott in the upcoming intra-party election and added that he and Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) will support him as well.
Judging from a Newsmax article, Trump seems to be on board with Rick Scott, see:

I believe Thune or Cornyn, if given the Senate Leadership, will slow-walk Trump’s agenda and do the “establishments” bidding.

They’d be McConnell 2 who promised we cannot get funding for the wall now, sign this bill, but I promse we will put it up for a vote later along with Ryan and they never did.

Think Rick Scott would make a solid senate leader…but can he deliver the funding. That’s what they’re looking at.
