Here are a whole bunch of people for you to be outraged at:

Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Wis.) has paid her sister, a staffer, over $70,000 this cycle since last February. Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), who recently lost his primary after serving nine terms, paid his son and daughter-in-law a combined $73,000 from his campaign committee. Rep. Russ Fulcher (R-Idaho) has paid his daughter $69,000 this cycle. Rep. Conor Lamb (D-Pa.), who was one of the top 10 representatives in fundraising last cycle due to a special election that earned national attention, paid his younger brother nearly $45,000 in 2019 and 2020.

Leading in campaign disbursements to family members was Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), who has paid her daughter over $187,000 this cycle to run a slate mailer operation as OpenSecrets previously reported.

Former presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg also disclosed paying nearly $10 million to Bloomberg LP,

Bloomberg shifted 5x as much money to his business.

Ouch.

I didn’t read the article. But I’m wondering how much of Trump is personally liable for and how much is corporate only debt. Example. Say he took a loan for 300 million. Documents state 250 million is corporate and Trump only personally liable for 50 million. How much would Forbes count as Trump being in the hole for?

Do you have a link to the amounts personally guaranteed by Trump?

Good luck getting the law changed allowing campaigns to pay family members and family businesses. Too man campaigns take advantage of the law for them to put a halt to it.

Here’s you one:

Ilhan Omar’s campaign contributed nearly 80% of political payments to husband’s consulting firm: filings

White guy. Tsk, tsk.

Yeah…you know…the ole innocent till proven guilty argument. It’s the American way even though that’s not the new lib way.

Such a high horse, yet you say that Hillary is guilty. :man_shrugging:

no they are not

It’s probably is legal. I’m no lawyer. They donate money to him and he can do what he wants. I wish I can do it too.

drive!

You can too.

File papers for an elected federal office.
Raise money.
Have family members and or a business that can provide a service to your campaign
Pay them

All I want is for an actual investigation to take place, where the letter of exoneration isn’t written…before it even begins. Is asking for a system of justice, that isn’t a two-tier system…really being on such a 'high horse"?

That’s you, right?

Yet you say Hillary is guilty.
You say there was massive voter fraud.

I say that emails from the head of the CIA John Brennan, speaking directly to the President of the United States indicate impropriety took place and yet, it was all just classified and NEVER investigated. Why? Why would the POTUS allow this? Supposedly AG Barr, in his last and final duty, assigned IG Durham to investigate this but…I’ll believe it when I see it.

IOW, you believe Hillary is guilty despite not being proven so. So your cry of “innocent until proven guilty” is just nonsense on your part.

When you observe evidence that indicates something, that doesn’t mean that it is but it does mean, it should be examined further. I’m sorry if this is too hard for you to discern between the two?

So Hillary is innocent? Because she hasn’t been “proven guilty” as you require. I see you believe she should be investigated. Ok. Is she innocent in the meantime?

It doesn’t seem like you live up to your own credo.

legally? yes. actually? tbd

I’m with you. So perhaps we shouldn’t be using “innocent until proven guilty” for anything except the legal definitions? It seems some use that to squelch opinion on guilt for their side.
