As a legal issue, the chain of custody of the laptop is so comically shady (for example, Bannon bragged about tampering with it): it can’t really function as evidence.

Again, you make some valid points especially on chain of custody concerns of the laptop.

That being said, beyond Congress having 2 IRS whistleblowers sworn under oath now, there are also reports of suspicious flows of monies pouring into BIDEN family bank accounts from foreign interests.

So at least we the people can tune in and each make our own determination if Joe is corrupt or not? After all, perception of voters often trumps the reality of what really probably happened.

A lot has changed since Republicans like Reagan stood up to Russia.

We have seen a Republican President stand next to Vladimir Putin and state he accepts Russian intelligence estimates over US intelligence estimates.

We have seen a Republican President actively question US participation in NATO; when a Democratic President has expanded NATO to Russia’s borders.

No Democrat has hailed Putin as a great leader but several Republicans have.

And now the leading Republican contenders for the Presidential nomination all favor cutting off aid to Ukraine – enabling Putin to win his failed war; while the Democrats remain fully committed to Ukrainian independence.

You can assert that the reverse is true but the facts are not on your side.

Since my son in law is from a neighboring country and is serving in our military, I will go with what he supports.
