Yes, left wing enclaves would see Trump daring to contest an election like that.

He did more than “contest.”

All of which, to the best of my knowledge, was legal or not considered criminal.

I fail to see how that is analogous to calling up a judge and issuing death threats.

So tell me Jez. How is that rat, crime, garbage and illegal entrant infested NYC doing? I hear tell that theft and assaults are on the rise in Brooklyn’s Chinatown area [Sunset Park]. Maybe NY should spend its time and dollars on cleaning up NY rather than use government resources to attack a political opponent.

Like it was yesterday.

It wasn’t so long ago and there is a special law for it.

Citing smoke dreams is hard for progressives. Just look at the One Horse Dog Face Pony Soldier, every time he opens his mouth it seems to be fabrication.

I hope a real old time Demcrat will step up to the plate. I could vote a democrat again in the right circumstances.

That would take dims to pull their heads out of where the sun does not shine.

I’m sorry. There is zero evidence of that.

Perhaps you are not making a credible argument. There is a health crisis in African-American communities, most notably the issue of diabetes. This problem and the higher rates of abortion among African-Americans can be traced to structural problems, lack of access to healthcare, the refusal of Republican legislatures to expand Medicare under the ACA and the assault on reproductive health centers serving poorer communities.

Since these structural issues are all the result of conservative policies, if you really were concerned about “genocide” in the African-American community you would recognize that abortion is NOT the issue. It’s your issue for sure, but that’s why I have twice suggested that your failure to succeed with this argument is a function of it being a very weak argument.

You can rail against Democratic Support for women’s choice, but the 46% support among Republican voters is striking as well, given that the pro-life movement enforces a virtual ban on Republican politicians actually representing what their constituencies want.

Where do you get those notions you profess, brother P&G?

Your ok, but, those notions have much to be desired.

I believe that @johnwk2 is making credible arguments. I cannot follow the logic you are passing. I am not commenting on you, just that logic.

Hogwash.

How does one get an abortion if there is a lack of health care?

Healthcare for women includes access to birth control that can prevent pregnancy.

I’ll leave it to you to figure of the connection between pregnancy and abortion, iid you can find one.

I think johnwks’s logic is

  1. Democrats hate black people

  2. Abortion is more frequent among black people than white people.

3, Democrats support abortion

  1. Therefore democrats are guilty of genocide against black people

My logic is.

  1. Abortion rates among African-Americans are higher than among other groups

  2. Healthcare problems are more frequent African-Americans than other groups

  3. Those issues are structural: such as access to Healthcare, blocking Medicare expansion

  4. Republicans oppose addressing structural issues, for example opposing the Democratic effort to cap insulin prices. (Diabetes being the prime example of a health care crisis in the Afircan-American community.

  5. If Johnwk2 were truly concerned about the African-American community, he would focus on the structural issues.

  6. Johnwk2’s real concern is his opposition to abortion, not his concern about African-Amerians which is why his argument finds support among abortion opponents, but seldom among African-Americans or Democrats.

It is the same mythical people who need an ID for everything in life but can’t get one to vote for some reason.

Does it include abortion?

How does “cap insulin prices” address “structural issues”?

Might want to do a little research and cut back on the hysteria:

The move was expected following a decision by the Senate parliamentarian, who determined earlier that the insulin provision was not compliant with the chamber’s strict budget rules. Democrats need to comply with those rules to advance the legislation, called the Inflation Reduction Act, without any Republican votes.

Here’s another thing you didn’t mention:

Trump signed an executive order to lower the price of insulin as one of his final health-care acts in office. The ruling was narrow, experts said, and would have lowered the cost of insulin for certain patients who go to certain federally qualified health centers.

It was rescinded by the Biden administration. Health officials said at the time that the rule would have imposed “excessive administrative costs and burdens” on health centers — and reduced resources for other health services.

You also failed to mention insulin goes generic in 2024 or that there are caps in place for medicare/medicaid patients. You know, the government systems.

I’ll assume the sources are acceptable.

You aren’t an honest broker.
