The term you are struggling for here is “flattening the curve” and we did.

Trump did his job. He’s responsible for the miracle (thats the word used by experts last June to describe what has now occurred) of seeing to it that a vaccine (or 3, or more actually) come into production, and distribution, and begin the first rounds of inoculation before the end of the year. But he will not be in charge of everyone getting it. That’s Biden’s job.
