The daily death rate has remained below 1,000 since June 10th.
It’s been reduced by about 2/3 since the peak.
Lay out your plan for reducing it to zero in the next thirty days.

…and? Declaring a state of emergency was an over reaction IMO. I’ve worked the entire time during this pandemic and simply applied processes that minimize the danger plus enforced a strict adherence to them. Thus far, this approach has proven itself to have one of the best outcomes.

What’s changed in my opinion?
Yet you keep attacking a congressmen for saying come to Chinatown february 24th, when here you are, again, acknowledging it had no cases on the 26th, and are saying it shouldn’t have even declared an emergency.
You’re clearly just hung up on the word “chinatown” even though as your post just declared again, there was nothing wrong with Chinatown.
So why do you keep saying it? It only scores points by relying on racism.

That’s it. How did you know?
What I know is that when you have nothing, that’s the card played. How very weak of you.
Because I just showed you why it doesn’t make sense other wise.
I don’t think your a racist Smyrna, I think you didn’t know any better, so I showed you that your argument only makes sense if you think the word “chinatown” is scary.
But If you’re going to continue to rely on an argument that demonstrably relies on racism, how weak of you.
So you going to keep using it? Because I’m going to keep publicly walking through the logic to show it doesn’t make any damn sense.

When there are a gazillion legitimate points of criticism regarding the governments response to covid, why even bother to carry the weight of supporting a blatantly illogical and racist one?

It is a fair question to put forth. I suspect a fair and logical response will not be forthcoming.
Particularly in the case of this pandemic, I can’t imagine a single statistician (real one anyways) that would argue for reduced testing. Why? Larger sample size provide greater information, but more importantly, reduce the margin of error.

“…argue against reduced testing” ?
Did you mean that?
lol. no. Should’ve been “argue for reduced testing”. Thanks for pointing that out.
So now that cleared up…
True but the statistician would only be stating the total number of samples parenthetically…they are not the main object of the study. The main object of the study is the same as I said earlier or similar to what I said … some windowed quantity stated as absolute or percapita results.
Hold up. That’s the Daily Deaths for the US, not a Republican governor… like say your own in Texas. Don’t you think it’s a bit disingenuous to post a graph of the entire US when you’re supposedly defending Republican governors? Surely that wasn’t intentional…
First is daily cases in TX. Second is deaths. Where is it falling?

“You don’t need to wear a mask.”
The article you linked to earlier about San Antonio stated: " > We’ve definitely seen a shift toward younger people – compared to what we were seeing back in March and April.
We’re seeing a much higher percentage of our patients in the 20 and 30 year old age spans.
We’re also seeing patients who are sicker than we saw back then."
Because I get to say “GYNA.”
