You like. I’m waiting for how not so.

young athletic people die at work “all the time”

uh huh

Happened to my wife. She was young, fit, she is a runner, and she passed out at work in a meeting. Had it not been for excellent coworkers, an aed, and a quick fire department she would be dead. She was “dead” for about 5 minutes.

It happens.

Glad she did okay. Did she get treated for the cause of her syncope?

She has an electrical conduction issue, we don’t know what caused it. She is had an internal defibrillator in her now, and is regularly wearing heart monitors.

I was thinking she probably, at a minimum, got an ICD. Scary stuff, but it now her guardian angel. They have really advanced in the last few decades, they’re tiny now and easy to implant. Some even send emails!

Glad she did well.

He’s already been shown the article where running actually exacerbates MVP.

Also…there are 25 million Americans aged 25-29.

Even if only 0.5% of them succumb to this condition per year, that’s 125,000 young Americans.

This is what large numbers means.

Thought about this thread when I heard a Congressman’s wife passed away suddenly the other day, from MVP.
