I agree with the original poster here, I think the president really shouldn’t have engaged this within a billion miles. Not only is it unfounded completely, but the family repeatedly asked for this to stop. I find it rude and inconsiderate in my honest opinion. Most of the time these things come off as just trying to get under peoples skin, but I don’t think he is on this one. But I can’t tell, and this is just my opinion.

Hey I’m just glad you finally took the reins and Galloped to the next irrelvant point.

So to wit:

Klausutis was a marathoner- WRONG
Even if Klausutis was a marathoner, running actually exacerbates the MVP condition she ended up being diagnosed with- so WRONG again
Now we are at “Dr. Berkland was a weirdo, so obviously he faked his autopsy report”…which sounds almost plausible…except there’s absolutely no connection with being a weirdo and being talented at one’s profession. So- WRONG AGAIN

But thank you for a textbook example of the Gish Gallop- string a bunch of nebulous arguments together to attempt to make the debunking so hard a chore that opponents give up.

Happened to my wife. She was young, fit, she is a runner, and she passed out at work in a meeting. Had it not been for excellent coworkers, an aed, and a quick fire department she would be dead. She was “dead” for about 5 minutes.

She has an electrical conduction issue, we don’t know what caused it. She is had an internal defibrillator in her now, and is regularly wearing heart monitors.

I was thinking she probably, at a minimum, got an ICD. Scary stuff, but it now her guardian angel. They have really advanced in the last few decades, they’re tiny now and easy to implant. Some even send emails!
