It sounds like they don’t know what states they are in either.

They’ll figure it out. Somebody knows.

There are other things in that article a bit more concerning.

Illinois went over 1M. Michigan is next.

Almost 32M vaccinated. 10%.

Texas needs to get on with it.

Please don’t talk in code. I don’t have time for that crap.

It’s a news story. Google it.

Who were the Dodgers playing? In what year? You’ve got to be able to do better than “Google it.” Maybe you could start a thread about it in the Sports Forum.

Someone needs some google basics. Try: Dodger stadium vaccination

Someone needs to get over themselves, and quit beating around the bush. If you have something to say, just say it.

I wonder at what level we start to see cases drop as a direct result of vaccinations. I guess it’s gonna be…what? 5 weeks after first shot before it’s effective? 2-3 weeks for second shot, then 2 weeks after that?

So if 30M have shot one today, maybe mid March we would see cases start to drop as 10% of the country is immunized?

Good Lord you two. It’s like playing cards with my sister’s kids.

We’ve been vaccinating for 6 weeks.

I think we are already seeing a drop in cases and severity of outcomes.

My hope is the trend up does not return. We just reduce to a low base line…gasp…like the flu after 50 to 75 percent are vaccinated.

You also have the 25m who’ve had COVID who have some level of immunization and possibly millions more who never even tested. I’m guessing we’re still a ways away though from it all making a big dent.

I heard reports yesterday, that even with those that have been vaccinated, we are gonna see a huge spike because of the UK variant. The fear is we could see double the hospitalization rate like th UK did.

Yeah, that and the SA variant…

Stay vigilant people! We’re moving in the right direction, but not out of it yet.

I already said it. I wish anti-vaxxers had not obstructed vaccinations in their misguided protest.

Thanks. I had seen a source that described the protesters as a mix of antivaxxers and far right wingers. But when I read the article I didn’t see any examples of far right wingers. So I decided I did not want to link to an article that may be inaccurate as to the composition of the protesters and just described them myself as “antivaxxers”.

You know, trying to find a group we can all pile on. :grinning:

So…have Biden found those missing doses?

Meanwhile 37,413 Americans died since Jan 21st.

“We are aware of social media posts referring to protestors showing up at the Dodger Stadium COVID-19 vaccination site. Preliminary reports are that protestors remained peaceful. The LAPD did NOT close the gates, and per LA City Fire, all scheduled vaccines will be delivered. “ https://twitter.com/latimes/status/1355661567598223361
